Gabriela begins by asking Gustavo about CookiesWhat are they, why are they important, and how can companies continue to advertise without interfering with...? people's privacy.

Gustavo then explains that, in a very simple way, the Cookies This would be the "way a server saves information on a client's computer," emphasizing that it's much more complicated than that in practice, but it could be explained in this way. He goes on to explain that it's often used to maintain a session, to ensure login, and for user preferences, and concludes: "We're going to devise strategies to continue tracking without using third-party cookies, because it's possible, it's just a bit more complicated, when perhaps the problem should be that you only process this data when you have the correct processing hypothesis."

Cookies and Marketing: How long is it advisable to use cookies for advertising purposes?

Gabriela then asks Vitor how to use people's data to segment communication without violating the... privacy of people.

Vitor then explains that the third-party cookies They allowed access to a website, even if the person had never entered that site before, to recognize the user, knowing that they had already been to other sites and that this information was somehow relevant, and could be used for some marketing activities. Data mapping and information organization

Gabriela questions Lamara about data mapping, method LGPD Model Canvas...and about how this method can help companies map data and organize information.

Lamara then recounts how the project was created amidst scandals related to... privacy issues: "It helps with this mapping; it's very visual and collaborative, and that's the idea. We need to remove the bureaucracy and make it collaborative."Lamara explains that it's necessary to have a representative from each area who needs to know the process from start to finish, and this person, who knows the process well, then participates in this mapping.

Lamara concludes by talking about the issue of suitability to LGPD And regarding how this is a process that will never end, since there will always be new processes and adjustments needed to ensure that privacy and data mapping are maintained in an increasingly secure and functional way.
