1. Adjust access to your location:

  • Go to the browser settings section;
  • Enter the "Privacy and Security" section;
  • After that, go to "permissions" and "settings";
  • In the "Location" section, uncheck the option;
  • Remove all websites that have access to your location by selecting them and clicking "Remove website". 
  • Finally, disable microphone and camera permissions.

2- Adjust the data collect

  • Click the list icon in the upper right corner of the screen and go to “Settings”;
  • Go to “Privacy and Security”, scroll down and select “Firefox Data Collection and Use”. Uncheck all three boxes.

3. Change your browser's default search settings:

  • In the “Cookies and Site Data” section, select “Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed”;
  • Then go to "History" and "Clear history". 
  • Finally, prevent the browser from storing this data again by choosing the option "Clear history when Firefox closes".

6- Adjust the tracking protection

  • Go to privacy and security settings, then to “Enhanced tracking protection”;
  • Select the security level you consider best between "Strict" and "Custom".
